In Texas, financial aid applications are not optional. As a condition of graduation, every Texas high school student must complete the FAFSA or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA), or formally opt out. Level All walks students and parents through it step by step, so most can finish in about 30 minutes.
What Level All Covers
- Before you start. A clear checklist of the documents and accounts each family needs.
- FAFSA or TASFA? Plain guidance on which application fits. The FAFSA opens the door to federal, state, and college aid. Students who cannot file the FAFSA may file the TASFA to be considered for state aid. Students who complete the FAFSA should not also complete the TASFA.
- Step by step. Plain-language guidance through every section, including the questions that trip families up most.
- After you submit. What happens next, how to read the aid offer, and how to compare offers between schools.
Built for Counselors, Too
Counselors can point every senior to the same guide, run a FAFSA night with ready-made lessons, and use the dashboard to see which students have completed the FAFSA, TASFA, or opt-out, and which still need help to meet the graduation requirement.
The FAFSA guide is free for Texas students and families. Book a meeting with our team, or reach out at texas@levelall.com.
