Every Texas student builds a Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) on the way into high school. The PGP decides a student's endorsement, their path to the distinguished level of achievement, and in many cases their shot at automatic admission to a Texas public university. Level All gives every Texas school—district and charter alike—a free tool to build, track, and update the PGP for every student, every year.
What Texas Requires
- A plan reviewed with every incoming ninth grader. A school counselor or administrator must review PGP options with each student entering ninth grade, together with their parent or guardian.
- Endorsements and the distinguished level. The options reviewed must include the five endorsement areas and the distinguished level of achievement under the Foundation High School Program.
- A signed plan. Before the end of the school year, the student and their parent or guardian must confirm and sign the PGP.
- Updates along the way. Students can amend their plan after it is confirmed, and the school must notify parents in writing when they do.
- Middle school plans for students who need support. Middle and junior high students who do not perform satisfactorily on STAAR must also have a PGP.
Two New Graduation Requirements This Year
- My Texas Future direct admissions. Starting with students enrolled in 2026-27, every student must either opt in to direct admissions through My Texas Future or formally opt out before graduating.
- Personal financial literacy. Students entering ninth grade in 2026-27 and later need a half credit in personal financial literacy.
Add the existing requirement to complete the FAFSA or TASFA, or opt out, and Texas counselors have more to track than ever.
How Level All Makes It Manageable
- A guided PGP. Students explore careers, compare endorsements, and map four years of courses step by step, so the plan they sign reflects real goals.
- Family-ready from day one. Students and parents can review the plan together before signing, and see every change when it is updated.
- A real-time counselor dashboard. Counselors see who has a signed PGP, who is on track for their endorsement, and who still needs to complete the FAFSA, TASFA, or My Texas Future step.
- Ready-made lesson plans. Teachers get classroom-ready lessons on careers, college planning, and personal finance.
