How it works for students
1. Get ready before the form opens
Level All shows students exactly what to get together before filling out the FAFSA, which opens each year around October 1. The 2027–2028 FAFSA opened on September 25, 2026.
- Personal info That’s their Social Security number or A-Number, parent tax returns, current asset information, and a list of schools to receive their FAFSA.
