Built for Wisconsin’s Academic and Career Planning Requirement

Every Wisconsin student in grades 6 through 12 is entitled to academic and career planning services under state law. Level All’s Career & Academic Plan tool is built to support that work with real depth: a two-signal interest model, direct alignment to Wisconsin’s own counseling and career-readiness standards, and a plan that travels with a student from middle school through graduation.

‍

Why This Matters

Wisconsin’s ACP requirement, in place since the 2017–18 school year, exists to help students plan for life after graduation, whether that’s postsecondary education, training, or a career. It’s built to align with the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model and the Wisconsin Common Career Technical Standards, and to incorporate self-exploration, career exploration, and career planning and management.

‍

Where Level All Adds Real Depth

  • A stronger signal than a single assessment. Level All’s affinity model updates in real time as a student saves and ranks careers they’re actually drawn to, creating an ongoing dialogue rather than a one-time quiz result. It’s weighted so a student’s own choices help create the plan, not just the assessment answers.
  • Built around the standards Wisconsin already uses. Content aligns directly to the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model and current ASCA-based practice, the same foundation as state counseling guidance.
  • A record that feeds federally required transition planning. For students with IEPs, ACP work that begins in 6th grade already produces real artifacts by the time a student’s Postsecondary Transition Plan is required at age 14.
  • A lasting portfolio. Every step a student completes, as well as their goals, reflections, and saved careers, feeds into a single, ongoing record that travels with them across grades and schools.
  • A real-time counselor dashboard. See exactly where each student stands, who’s on track, and where the gaps are, across the whole school.

Coach Tip:

Wisconsin requires districts to publish their ACP/E4E plan publicly every year. A tool built to generate clear, exportable evidence of student progress makes that publication easier.
